Joanne Fusco, 45, allegedly rear ended another driver on Post Road near West Norwalk Road, attempted to leave the scene and was unable to complete field sobriety tests for authorities, the Darien Times reported.

Fusco denied being under the influence and claimed she had taken prescription medication earlier that day, police told the Darien Times.

She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart before being released on $100 bond with a March 1 court date, the Darien Times reported.
