STAMFORD, Conn. -- A volunteer fire chief in Stamford has been charged with punching the son of his ex-girlfriend in the face after allegedly smashing his car window Sunday, according to police, said the Stamford Advocate.
The accused is Shawn Fahan, Springdale Fire Company chief, the report said.
He is charged with third-degree assault, breach of peace, criminal mischief and failure to drive right, the Stamford Advocate reported.
A 911 call by the alleged victim led to police contacting Fahan, who then turned himself in, according to the Stamford Advocate.
