STAMFORD, Conn. A variety store in Stamford was robbed at gun point Saturday night, Sgt. Rob Barbagallo said Monday.
According to the report, two suspects wearing all black clothing and black knit masks, entered Fairlawn Card & Variety and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk handed them an undisclosed amount of cash, and they fled out the rear of the store, Barbagallo said.
One suspect stood about 5 feet 5 inches tall and the other was about 6 feet tall, Barbagallo said.
This marks the fifth armed robbery on the citys east side since Sept. 6, but Barbagallo was not positive this case is related to the others.
