STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police said that a gun stolen in the recent robbery of a North Carolina pawn shop has turned up in the hands of a Stamford teen already in hot water in an unrelated weapons case, according to a report in the Stamford Advocate.

Tariq Andino’s home was raided by police this week and a .40-caliber handgun, one of the dozens of other weapons taken in the robbery, was recovered, the Stamford Advocate reported.

The 18-year-old is out on bail in the original Wilton case, where he was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, among other things, according to the Stamford Advocate.
