Stamford Store Robbed At Gun Point Again

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Cove Mini Mart was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night for the second time this month, Lt. Diedrich Hohn said.

The suspect entered the store, pulled out a “large-caliber Glock hand gun,” and demanded money, Hohn said. The robber then took off in a car on Dale Street and headed toward Ursula Place, he said.

The holdup was very similar to one that took place Sept. 6, and the suspect seemed familiar with the store, making police believe the same person was responsible for both incidents, Hohn said.

The amount of money taken Sunday was not released.
