Stamford Soft Serve Truck Burns, Melting All The Ice Cream

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Forget drippy ice cream cones, it was more like ice cream on fire as a soft serve ice cream truck caught fire on Sunday, June 26 on Washington Boulevard in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Stamford Fire Department quickly extinguished a soft serve ice cream truck fire, but they couldn't save the ice cream from melting.

The truck, which was near Mill River Park when smoke began coming from under the dashboard, was a complete loss and all of the ice cream melted, said the Connecticut Post.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly and no one was hurt, added the Connecticut Post.
