Stamford Police Seeking Help In Burglary Investigation

STAMFORD, Conn., -- Stamford Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a burglary at the “Wash Works” at 953 East Main Street on Oct. 23 at approximately 3 a.m.

Police said it is the second attempt on an ATM and believe the suspects may be the same individuals.

Both suspects are covered but one is wearing a distinct sweatshirt with a pictured of a cartoon skull from the movie “Nightmare before Christmas.” The second suspect is wearing what appears to be camouflage plants and a face mask with a white design, possibly a Fox Motorsports logo. He is also wearing eyeglasses with a dark rim. Both suspects appear to be white or Hispanic, police said.

They drove away in a light colored car with a dark stripe or dark body molding along the side of the car.
