Stamford Police Seek 2 Women Who Used Stolen Credit Card To Buy Computers

STAMFORD, Conn. – The Stamford Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two female suspects who stole a credit card from a victim while she was at the Landmark Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 21, police said.

The AmEx card was stolen out of the victim's purse between 4:50 and 6:30 p.m., police said. 

The two suspects then used the card at the Apple Store and Target the same day, police said. One suspect purchased two MacBook Pro computers at the Apple store at the Stamford Town Center, police said. 

The suspect was joined by a second woman and they then attempted to make a $1,700 purchase at Target, police said. 

The first suspect appears to be a black or Hispanic woman in her 30s, police said. The second suspect is a heavier-set black woman with longer hair and who appears younger than the first suspect, police said.

The video shows the first suspect in the Apple store and the two suspects in Target, police said.
