Stamford Police: Norwalk Man Found With 'Good And Plenty' Heroin

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A man who has been on the Stamford Police Department's "radar" was arrested on drug charges Wednesday on High Ridge Road.

Patrol officers were told by the department's Narcotic and Organized Crime Unit that there was an arrest warrant for the man, who frequents the area of the 1200 block of High Ridge Road. 

A patrol officer found the man, William Michelotti, 26, of 40 Trinity Place, Norwalk, in his vehicle in the area just after 9 p.m., police said.

Michelotti was acting suspiciously and handed an officer what was described as a razor or a box cutter, police said. 

The officer also noticed a clear plastic bag poking out from underneath a floor mat, police said. Insider, officers found 55 individual glassine bags of heroin, stamped with the words "Good and Plenty" police said. 

Michelotti was charged with one count each of possession and sale of narcotics and second-degree failure to appear.

Bond was set at $1,000,  and he was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
