STAMFORD, Conn. -- No one was reported hurt in a shooting incident Thursday evening on Stamford's West Side when one man chased another one, police said.

In the incident, a man stopped at a red light at Selleck and Virgil streets saw a man with a black bandana jump out of beige sedan and chase a man wearing a yellow soccer jersey down the street just after 6 p.m., police said.

The witness said the weapon appeared to be silver, police said. No shell casings were found at the scene, Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said.

The suspect and his target were both described as black men in their early 20s, police said.
