Stamford Police: Man Put Gun To Woman's Head As She Changed Baby's Diaper

STAMFORD, Conn. — A man who put a gun to a woman's head and robbed her while she was changing her baby's diaper at her car in a Stamford parking garage has been arrested, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Marquise Douglas, 28, of Stamford confessed to robbing the woman of her purse, cash and credit cards on the afternoon of June 8 at the parking garage at 78 Harvard Ave., police told the Advocate.

The suspect was identified from video surveillance of an Old Greenwich gas station, where one of her credit cards was used within minutes of the armed robbery, the Advocate said. 

Douglas was charged with first-degree robbery and two counts of risk of injury to a child and was held on $350,000 bond for Thursday court date, the Advocate said.
