Witnesses reported hearing the shots shortly after 10 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Street near Lipton Place, and several called 911. But they weren't able to provide police with a lot of details except that there were four to five people in a black car in the area, the Stratford Advocate says.

Police said it appeared that three different guns were used. Neighbors were rattled by the incident, and one resident found two shell casings right outside her house, the Stamford Advocate reports.
