Stamford Police Enforce 'Click It or Ticket'

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Police Department will participate in the "Click It or Ticket" enforcement program over the Thanksgiving holiday period.

During a four hour period on Tuesday, officers issued 23 infraction tickets for no seatbelt, nine for cell phone violations and five miscellaneous tickets. They arrested one driver who had a warrant for failure to appear. 

They also arrested someone with an arrest warrant for assault and ticketed a driver for a cell phone violation and driving with a suspended license.
