STAMFORD, Conn. -- More than 400 rowdy nightclub partiers yelling, screaming and fighting at the Ballroom Club in Stamford on Sunday, April 3 sent every police officer on duty to the club with reports of a stabbing, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Stamford Police Sgt. Kelly Connelly told the Stamford Advocate that when police arrived at the club near Walter Wheeler Drive, they found a female with a cut on the back of her head along with the out-of-control crowd, said the Stamford Advocate.

Officers were able to get the crowd under control and clear the group from the area. Two people were arrested including Yvette Brooks, 47, of New Haven, and a 16-year-old juvenile, according to the Stamford Advocate. The injured woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Stamford Hospital, added the Stamford Advocate.
