STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford woman is facing charges of child endangerment after a state worker found her unconscious on her couch Tuesday night with more than 50 prescription pills nearby, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Maribel Rosario is charged with three counts of risk of injury to a child, failure to keep narcotics in their original container and illegally obtaining prescription drugs, the Advocate said. Her children, a 6-month old boy, 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, were removed from her home by the Department of Children and Families, the story said.
