Stamford Man In Hospital After Catching Fire While Doing Yard Work

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford resident suffered burns after setting himself on fire while working in his yard clearing weeds, according to News 12.

Stamford firefighters said a local man suffered burns while using gasoline to clear weeds in his yard.

Stamford firefighters reported the incident happened on Adams Street on Thursday evening as the man was using gasoline. He jumped into a pool to put out the flames, said News 12.

The man, who suffered burns, was taken to a hospital, added News 12.
