Stamford Man Facing Drug Charges After Family Turns Him In

STAMFORD, CONN. -- A 20-year-old Stamford man was facing drug charges after a family member told police he kept marijuana and a handgun under his bed, the Stamford Advocate reports.

DeMonte Ruffin was held on $2,500 bond on charges of possession of marijuana and operating a drug factory, police told the Advocate. Officers found about 10 grams of marijuana, a scale, bags and a loaded Glock semiautomatic pistol in his West Side home, the Stamford Advocate says.
