Stamford Man Charged With Having Sex With Girl,14

STAMFORD, Conn. — A 23-year-old Stamford man has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl he met on Facebook, Sgt. Joseph Kennedy said.

Cesar Oliva was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, police said. He posted his $50,000 bond.

Oliva began talking to the girl over Facebook and eventually the two exchanged phone numbers and began meeting at his home, Kennedy said. A Youth Services Division supervisor said the two would have sex and he would send her home in a taxi, Kennedy added.

Kennedy said authorities became aware of the relationship after the victim’s father found his daughter hiding in an alley outside of their house on July 23 and contacted police.
