Stamford Man Charged With Dousing Family Home With Gas

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stratford Police charged a Stamford man with dousing his family's home with gasoline then threatening to burn it down Tuesday, March 11, according to The Hartford Courant.

Jason Raveis, 38, was attempting to prevent his family from selling selling the home. The incident took place Aug. 8, 2012, The Courant reported. 

Raveis was charged with first-degree attempted arson, threatening, breach of peace and first-degree reckless endangerment. He was released from custody after posting $50,000 bond, The Courant said.
