Stamford Fire Department Rolls Out Engine 9

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Fire Department announced that it has put a new truck into service -- a 2016 KME Severe Service 1500 GPM Pumper Engine, dubbed Engine 9.

Capt. Philip Hayes said Engine 9 is stationed at the Turn of River Fire Station No. 2 at 50 Roxbury Road.

"It has a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 30-gallon foam tank," Hayes added.
