STAMFORD, CONN. -- A 49-year-old woman was cited by police for failing to yield to a pedestrian after police say her car hit a 29-year-old woman in the crosswalk on Oak Street, leaving the woman with injuries on the left side of her body, the Stamford Advocate reports.
The victim was taken to Stamford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the Stamford Advocate says.
