The arrests came after a three-week investigation by the Narcotics and Organized Crime Division of the Stamford Police Department, Patch.com reported.
Officers were prepared to serve Jamaal Titus Grant, 31, with a search warrant when a woman in a car pulled up to his residence at 167 Grove St. and they saw a drug deal take place, police told Patch.com. Grant was arrested on drug and weapons charges.
The woman, Beverly Suarez, 49, of Stamford, had her 6-year-old grandchild in the car with her and was charged with possession of marijuana and risk of injury to a minor.
Upon searching Grant's apartment, police discovered a Cobray CM-11 high-capacity 9mm gun, according to Patch.com.
