STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man is listed in critical condition after a being hit by a car while riding his bike this morning on Tresser Boulevard, according to NBC Connecticut.

According to police, Abdul Aziz, 72, was in the crosswalk, approaching Edith Sherman Drive when he was hit by a person driving a 2004 Toyota Sienna, NBC Connecticut said.

Police said Aziz was not wearing a helmet. The driver remained at the scene, added NBC Connecticut.
