Shots Fired But No Injuries In Latest Stamford Shooting

STAMFORD, Conn. — Shots were fired in Stamford’s South End Thursday afternoon, Lt. Diedrich Hohn said.

According to Hohn, a masked man approached a black man with dreadlocks at the intersection of Pacific and Henry streets and fired twice. Both parties then fled the scene, he said.

The shooter got into a Nissan and headed east on Henry Street, Hohn said.

There was no blood trail and it does not appear anyone was shot in the incident, the lieutenant said. It appears that the suspect used a revolver, he said.

There were plenty of witnesses to the incident, but none were able to tell police who the shooter was because he was masked, Hohn said. The shooting took place at about 4:40 p.m.

It is too early in the investigation to tell whether or not Thursday’s incident is related to the shooting that took place Tuesday in the South End or any of the other shootings that have taken place recently in Stamford.
