Two sawed-off shotguns were found in the attic along with a cooler containing 293 grams of marijuana, 15 folds of heroin, a scale and more than $3,000 in cash, Shaw said. Police also found one-half gram of powder cocaine, baggies, cash, and more marijuana elsewhere in the house, the lieutenant said.

Street value is estimated at $1,500 for the marijuana and $300 for the heroin, Shaw said.

Police had information that there were guns in the residence for about six months, and were executing a search warrant on Wednesday, Shaw said.

The suspect, Richter Rinvil, 19, was charged with operation of a drug factory, two counts of possession of a sawed-off shotgun, two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, sale of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of narcotics, among other charges, police said.

He was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Shaw said.
