Red Cross Assists Three Families After Fire In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. --  The American Red Cross is helping seven people – five adults and two children in three families – after a fire on Summer Street in Stamford on Tuesday.

A family of two adults was helped with emergency food needs. A family of two adults and two children received help with emergency housing and food needs. A single adult received help with emergency housing and food needs.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a resident might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
