STAMFORD, Conn. — A television, an X-Box, X-Box games and a couple of hundred dollars in cash was stolen Wednesday afternoon from a Connecticut Avenue residence in Stamford, Sgt. Andrew Gallagher said.
A neighbor witnessed a 20-year-old man who lives in the area go into the home and leave with the items, Gallagher said. The suspect left the area in a car before police arrived on scene, Gallagher said.
The victim was at work when the burglary took place and was notified there by the neighbor, Gallagher said. Police were called to the scene shortly after 3 p.m.
The suspect has had problems with other people living on Connecticut Avenue and is on probation, Gallagher said.
