Police: Stamford Woman Passed Out In Car Had Four Times Legal Alcohol Limit

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford woman found passed out in her vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Stamford had a blood-alcohol limit four times the legal limit, police said.

Stamford Police arrested a woman who had four times the legal limit of alcohol in her system after she was found passed out in her vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

The police officer who wrote the report that that recording of 0.3294 was "not a typo" about the extraordinarily high reading. The legal limit is .08.

The woman was found just after 4 p.m., passed out behind the steering wheel of her vehicle at 12 Minor Place, police said.

Charged with illegal operating while under the influence was Miriam Martinez-Garcia, 35, of 106 Crystal St.
