Police: Man Robbed of $400 In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — A person was robbed at gun point on Stamford’s East Side early Sunday morning, Sgt. Paul Vaccaro said.

The victim was throwing out garbage in a dumpster at Domus when two people approached him demanding cash, Vaccaro said. The two suspects were dressed in all black and wearing black hoodies; one of the two had a pistol, he said.

The man had $400 cash he gave to the suspects, and they ran off, Vaccaro said.

The suspects were described as being male and in between the ages of 20- 22, Vaccaro said.

Vaccaro did not say if this incident was related to the other armed robberies recently on the East Side.
