Police Identify Suspect In Stamford Pistol Whipping

STAMFORD, Conn. — A man suspected in the pistol whipping a female acquaintance in Stamford is wanted by police.

Michael McFarlane, 20, is suspected of aggravated assault with a firearm in the pistol whipping a female acquaintance in June.

The incident, which took place in June at Jackie Robinson Park on the city’s West Side took place between Michael O. McFarlane, 20, and a female, Lt. Diedrich Hohn said. The gun used was a small caliber handgun, he said.

Hohn suspects that the gun has been used in other crimes and added that McFarlane should be considered armed and dangerous.
