Police: Food Delivery Guy Beaten, Robbed In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — A food delivery guy was beat up and robbed in Stamford Thursday night, Sgt. Paul Vaccaro said.

According to Vaccaro, here is what happened: The victim delivered food to a home on Grandview Avenue in Stamford and was beaten up by three guys as he made his way back to his car. While they were beating him, they took $150 in cash.

The suspects were described as males wearing hoodies, he said.

The victim was able to provide police with a vehicle and license plate number, and police are investigating, Vaccaro said.
