STAMFORD, Conn. Both parties were arrested Sunday evening when a domestic dispute turned violent with a woman stabbing her ex-boyfriend, Stamford police Sgt. Kevin Keenan said.
According to one suspect, Diana Shur, she grabbed a fixed-blade knife and stabbed her ex-boyfriend, Oleh Rudenko in the left forearm, after he hit her and threatened to get a gun, Keenan said. She also told police Rudenko had invited her over there and wouldn't let her leave, Keenan said.
Rudenko, 30, whose Harbor Street residence is where the incident took place, did say she stabbed him, but did not give a reason why, Keenan said. He also confirmed they had broken up, Keenan said.
Both parties were arrested. Rudenko was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Shur, 33, was charged with second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct, police said.
