Pickup Truck Goes Over Guardrail, Slams Into Tree On I-95; Three Injured

STAMFORD, Conn. — Three people from Stamford were hurt — the driver with life-threatening injuries — after a pickup truck crashed up and over a guardrail then slammed into a tree on I-95, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The accident happened at about 1 a.m. Sunday near Exit 9 on southbound I-95, state police told the Advocate.

The 2015 GMC Denali pickup truck was driven by a 27-year-old Stamford man, who suffered life-threatening injuries, the Advocate said. A backseat passenger, a 27-year-old man from Stamford sustained serious injuries, and a 28-year-old woman passenger in the front seat received minor injuries, the Stamford Advocate said.
