NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man led police on a chase in a stolen car and on foot before eventually being arrested on Sunday night, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that they spotted a stolen car driven by 23-year-old Alexander Louis of Norwalk on Connecticut Avenue Sunday night. When an officer pulled up next to Louis, he reversed and drove off, nearly hitting a police cruiser in the process, according to the Hour.

Louis led police on a chase to Garfield Street before getting out and fleeing on foot, according to the Hour. He was eventually found in the area of Fairfield Avenue and Reed Street, and after fighting with officers he was Tasered, according to the Hour. He was arrested on a number of charges, including third-degree larceny, engaging police in pursuit, interfering with an officer and reckless driving, the Hour reported.
