The two men entered the home on Alma Rock Road through an unlocked back door at about 1 a.m., police Capt. Richard Conklin told the Advocate.

They tied up the resident with telephone and video game wires and stuffed a shirt in his mouth, the Advocate said.

The men fled quickly after rummaging through the home but took nothing of value, the Advocate said.

Police were continuing to investigate.
