NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan police tracked down a burglary suspect in Stamford on Wednesday, March 12, thanks to palm prints and fingerprints that were left behind at the scene, according to Patch.com.
Miguel A. Palencia, 29, of Stamford, broke into a New Canaan home in November, police told Patch.com. Nothing was taken from the home, but a GPS was reported stolen from a vehicle in the garage, Patch.com reported.
Fingerprints and palm prints were recovered at the scene, and the Connecticut State Forensic Lab identified them as belonging to Palencia, who has a criminal record, Patch.com said.
