But when officers asked Shawn Robert Miller, 34, of 29 Westwood Road, the name of his friend, he couldn't up with it, police said.

Officers ended up arresting him on a pair of drug charges: possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted $1,000 bond and was released to make his first appearance in court on March 20.

Two officers on patrol were checking out the parking lot at 11:15 p.m. when they saw a white man get out of a vehicle but walk away when he noticed the police car enter the parking lot, police said.

They stopped him and asked what he was doing there, police said. He said he was visiting a friend but couldn't come up with a name or an address, police said.

When questioned, Miller admitted he had a pipe in his car that he used for smoking drugs, police said. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered crystal meth inside a folded up lottery ticket, police said.
