Tyquan Hayes, 21, of Ruth Street in Bridgeport, and Delvon Lamar Campbell, 22, of William Street in Stamford, are each charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, stealing a firearm and illegal possession of a weapon, the Stamford Advocate says.

Police found the gun under the seat during a traffic stop because the car was moving without lights. Hayes, who has previously been convicted of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, is also charged with illegal firearm possession by a felon, the Stamford Advocate reports.
