STAMFORD, Conn. — Wednesday’s “Meet the Chief” event with Stamford Police Chief Jonathan Fontneau has been canceled, an email from the Board of Representatives office said.

The public forum was scheduled to be held at Congregation Agudath Shalom for residents in the Bull’s Head and outer downtown areas. No reason was given, and no makeup date has been announced.

Fontneau scheduled seven public forums for March through May to meet with residents and to learn more about each of the neighborhoods throughout Stamford.
