Orane Cole, 42, of 3412 Main St., of Bridgeport, was arrested Feb. 22 on a warrant constructed by Det. Walberto Cotto, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
According to the warrant, Cole was charged with aggravated first-degree sexual assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, and threatening.
An extensive investigation involving detectives from two states, found he sexually assaulted the young woman from when she was a kindergartner and continued until the present time, police said.
Cole's bond was initially court set at $250,000 but was raised to $500,000 during his arraignment in front of Superior Court Judge William Holden.
