The juveniles, whose ages and genders were not disclosed, told police that at around 3:10 p.m. they were walking when the man in a blue convertible drove up and offered them a ride, the Hour reported. They described him as a white male wearing a black hat and blue raincoat, according to the Hour.
Police told the Hour that the juveniles ran away and told their families, who then reported the incident to the police. Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Norwalk Police Department at (203) 854-3000.
