STAMFORD, Conn. — A homeless Stamford man who police said had sexually assault a girl for several years was arrested on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Police told the Stamford Advocate that 40-year-old Danillo Palma had committed sexual abuse against the girl for several years, but it was never reported until last fall. Police launched an investigation that indicated he may have left the area and possibly even the country, the Stamford Advocate reported.
But then police received information that Palma was working in the area, and they arrested him on Thursday on Wardwell Street, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Palma was charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, and risk of injury to a minor, and held on a $500,000 bond, according to the Stamford Advocate.
