original story: STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford police reported that Hamilton Avenue was closed Wednesday morning due to a motor vehicle accident, according to Twitter.

The closure is between Glenbrook Road and Lawn Avenue, police said. That is near the headquarters of AmeriCares.

It was not clear how long the road would be closed. No further details were released by police.
