DARIEN, Conn. -- Someone vandalized a BMW while it was parked overnight at a home on Mansfield Avenue in Darien last week, police said.

The owner of a 2001 BMW 5 Series reported that he had parked his car outside 480 Mansfield Ave. at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. The man had been an overnight guest at the Mansfield Avenue home. When he returned to his car the next day, he found that the left front and rear turn signals had been broken and that someone had scratched the vehicle's paint, police said.

Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and that the cost to repair the damage is not currently known.
