Ex-Stamford Condo Association Leader Charged With Embezzling $9,500

STAMFORD, Conn. — The former president of a Stamford condominium association is accused of embezzling more than $9,500, leaving her neighbors with lapsed insurance, unpaid bills and $15 in the bank, according to The Stamford Advocate.

Jaime Lipsher of Park Street became president of the association at the Ocean Park Condos in October 2014, when she’s alleged to have first made a $2,100 cash withdrawal from the association’s account, according to The Stamford Advocate.

The withdrawals continued until August 2015, with a total of $9,550 stolen, according to The Advocate.

Lipsher, who was arrested Tuesday, is charged with second-degree larceny, said the Advocate.
