Sebastiano P. Sciaretta, 45, of Newfield Avenue faces two charges each of third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny, according to New Canaan News.

Police say Sciaretta was one of the contractors who was demolishing a Summer Street home, according to the report.

One of the homeowners called police in August after noticing pipes had been cut from the ceiling, according to the report. Lab testing of blood found in the area revealed that the DNA matched that of Sciaretta, according to the report.
