A witness told police that a man dressed in dark clothing walked through the gate and into the front of the Ann Street home and fired at it, Conklin said. The shots were fired through the front window and into the living room, he said. Rounds were found in a sofa and couch, the captain said.

No one in the home was injured in the shooting, he said.

Forensics recovered a couple of rounds, but no shell casings were found on the scene, police said.

Investigators were looking into why the homes was targeted, Conklin said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bureau of Criminal Investigations at 203-977-4417.
