STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford police recovered a stolen handgun and more than four ounces of marijuana during a raid Thursday afternoon, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that the raid on the Chestnut Street home was the result of a several week investigation. During the raid, officers found 4.3 ounces of marijuana and a pink handgun that had been stolen last October from a home in Bangor, Maine, according to the Stamford Advocate. They also found a BB gun that looked exactly like a semiautomatic pistol, the Stamford Advocate reported.

As a result of the raid, police arrested 21-year-old Marquette Wilson and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, criminal possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm, the Stamford Advocate reported. Wilson is a convicted felon who has previously been convicted with stealing a car and punching a firefighter in separate incidents, according to the Stamford Advocate.
