Body Of Woman Recovered At Lordship Seawall In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. — Police were investigating after the body of a woman washed ashore near the Lordship seawall in Stratford on Monday morning, reported the Connecticut Post.

The woman was described as white, 30 to 50 years old and fully clothed, including shoes and socks, the Post said. 

The body, found face down in the sand, was recovered by Stratford police and firefighters at the foot of First Avenue and Beach Drive, the Post said.
