STAMFORD, Conn. — A Hamden man calling himself “Batman” was charged with harassing and threatening a Stamford business, Lt. Diedrich Hohn said.
For more than a year, James Zadubara, 53, is suspected of calling where he used to work and leaving graphic messages for the owner and employees, Hohn said.
Police were unable to track the calls because they were made using a number that wouldn't link back to the caller, he said.
An employee and the owner told police they recognized Zadubara’s voice, Hohn said. He added that the only time the calls were not made was when the suspect was in jail for two weeks.
Zadubara was charged Wednesday afternoon with 56 counts of second-degree harassment and 17 counts of second-degree threatening, police said.
